Teazenway Officially Resumes the Supply of Premium Jasmine Tea

Teazenway is pleased to announce that we have officially resumed the supply of premium jasmine tea following a temporary disruption caused by severe flooding in the jasmine-growing region.

We are publishing this notice because the interruption was not related to ordinary inventory planning. The previous supply slowdown was directly connected to extreme weather conditions that affected jasmine production, harvesting and the wider local supply chain.

Rather than replacing the affected tea with lower-grade material or rushing alternative supplies into the market, Teazenway chose to wait until suitable jasmine flowers and tea materials became available again and could meet our normal quality requirements.

Why the Jasmine Tea Supply Was Interrupted

Jasmine tea production depends on more than the availability of finished tea leaves. Fresh jasmine flowers are a critical part of the scenting process, and their quality, harvest timing and condition directly influence the final aroma of the tea.

Severe flooding in the jasmine-producing area disrupted normal agricultural activity and affected the availability of suitable flowers. Transportation and local production arrangements were also impacted during the period following the flooding.

Under these conditions, maintaining a consistent supply of high-quality jasmine tea became difficult.

For Teazenway, the priority was to avoid lowering our sourcing standards simply to keep products available. A temporary interruption was preferable to supplying jasmine tea that did not meet the level of aroma, cleanliness and overall quality that our customers and partners expect.

Premium Jasmine Tea Supply Has Now Resumed

With production conditions gradually returning to normal and suitable jasmine materials becoming available again, Teazenway has now resumed the supply of selected premium jasmine tea.

Current supply will continue to be managed carefully according to actual production conditions, available lots and quality evaluation.

As with other agricultural products, jasmine tea can vary from season to season. We therefore prefer to work with real harvest conditions rather than treat every batch as identical.

Our focus remains on tea with a clean jasmine fragrance, balanced floral character and a tea base that remains clearly present beneath the aroma of the flowers.

Why We Did Not Rush to Replace the Previous Supply

When a producing region experiences a serious weather event, it is possible to respond quickly by buying from different sources or accepting a wider range of grades.

However, doing so can create significant differences in aroma, tea base, processing quality and overall consistency.

Teazenway decided not to restore supply simply for the sake of having jasmine tea back in stock as quickly as possible.

We waited until we could once again obtain tea and jasmine materials that were suitable for the quality level we wanted to maintain.

This approach may result in a longer interruption, but it allows us to protect the consistency of the products supplied under the Teazenway name.

Jasmine Tea Is Particularly Sensitive to Flower Quality

Unlike teas where the final character comes primarily from the tea leaf itself, traditional jasmine tea depends heavily on the condition and fragrance of fresh jasmine flowers used during scenting.

The quality of the flowers affects how clean, natural and persistent the jasmine aroma feels in the finished tea.

If flower availability is limited or if harvested flowers are affected by difficult weather conditions, the finished tea can also become less consistent.

This is one of the reasons Teazenway treated the flooding-related disruption as a quality issue rather than simply an inventory problem.

Supply Will Continue to Be Monitored Carefully

Although the supply of premium jasmine tea has now resumed, Teazenway will continue to monitor production and availability carefully.

Agricultural recovery after severe weather does not always happen at the same speed across every farm, processing facility or harvest period.

For this reason, availability may continue to vary between individual jasmine tea lots.
